Welcome to Coates Contracting & Rentals — your locally owned and family-operated company based right here in beautiful Nanaimo, BC.

Founded in 2025, we started this business with a simple goal: to support our community by making it easier for people to tackle their projects, big or small. Whether you're digging, hauling, dumping, or transporting materials, we’re here to help with reliable equipment and a friendly, down-to-earth approach.

Our current rental lineup includes a mini excavator, dump trailer, and flat deck trailer — everything you need to get the job done right. But we don’t stop at just equipment rentals. If you need a hand, we also offer services like hauling, dumping, excavation, and more. We’re here to make your project as smooth and stress-free as possible — whether you're doing it yourself or want us to handle the heavy lifting.
